• CASINDO’s PROGRAMME (2009-2011) is The Netherlands Government aid program aims to provide assistance to The Indonesian Government through developing Institutional and human capacity that will enable the region to develop energy policies and implement sustainable energy projects
• It was decided at EWG meeting in 2004.
1. National level :
• Training program on renewable energy and energy efficiency for national, regional and local public organization
• Training for MEMR’s to enhance their capacity to develop and implement RE/EE.
2. In the 5 Provinces :
• To develop and implement long term energy strategy
• Implementation of Education and research program on renewable/sustainable energy and energy efficiency by Universities and technical school.

Aims : to accomplish efficient management and implementation of the program including financial planning, human resources management, guidance to program partners, communication and liaison with program steering committee
• Aims : to further strengthen Regional Energy Forums by means of specific training courses and/or workshop and to broaden the institutional set up by establishing working relationships with other key stakeholders in the region.
• In Papua and North Sumatera focusing on the establishment of energy forum
Aims : to introduce training modules on renewable energy technologies that can be used at technical schools in the target provinces.
Aims : to further develop and broaden capacity in the target provinces to enable the regional government to formulate sound energy policies
Aims : to provide the capacity development needs for the successful implementation of WPs 2,3,4 and 5
Will address the need for ongoing dissemination of results throughout the programs : Casindo website, National Seminar, Program leaflet.

a. Project Advisory Committee and Steering Executive Committee isnot approved.
b. CASINDO Coordination meeting is not continuously and regularlyheld.
c. There are some activities not achieved, i.e.: Regional Energy Forumin North Sumatera and Papua, Master Program for CASINDO’sPartner.
d. Some of CASINDO’s activities report not yet submitted to ETCERE.e. Training Program in the four region not yet conducted.f. Coordination among CASINDO’s team yet effective.g. ETCERE role as coordinator is still unclear, especially in the
implementation, monitoring and evaluation of CASINDO projects.h. Evaluation of each WP need to be done per semester and the
results are reported to The Head of AETMR-MEMR. It is expectedthat CASINDO provide the budget to support these.
a. Need to increase coordination among the CASINDO members.
b. Implementation of remaining activities in 2011.
c. Reporting of the activities continuously to Head of ETA/ETCERE.
d. Monitoring and Evaluation System.
