CASE STUDY BACKGROUND MSX International (MSXI) is a leading global provider of outsourced business solutions for the automotive industry, providing business solutions to companies throughout the automotive, truck and motorcycle industries. CHALLENGE MSXI was asked by Ford – a long-term global client – to deliver a variety of after-sales-related programmes for its dealers in India. MSXI quickly realised that it needed to open an office in India and employ local staff who understand India’s business culture rather than bring in existing employees. Furthermore, first encounters with Indian bureaucracy were not good and MSXI began to realise that it would need expert help in navigating India’s maze of regulatory and legal requirements. So began the task of finding a market activation partner who would deliver a comprehensive range of market entry services for new entrants into India. SOLUTION MSXI met with a number of companies before meeting Sannam S4 who offered the most comprehensive market-entry and business development services.
