ANALYTICAL & CRITICAL THINKING EXERCISE The candidates will be organized into teams of 3 members each. The teams will then be split into 3 groups with each group being given a different case. The teams will have sufficient time to analyze the case presented to them, structure their solution and make a final presentation in MS PowerPoint. The cases provided have been intentionally left Open Ended and we are relying on the team’s Brainstorming ability to think through the issues at hand, generate different solutions and evaluate them for practicality. Each team will have 10 minutes to present with a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 4 minutes available to each member. The final presentation should also include a slide on the team charter highlighting each member’s contribution to the exercise. The final presentations should be submitted via e-mail to [email protected] by the end of the allotted time. File naming convention “Group No. XX - CaseStudy Name.” Eg. Group 1 - FDI to GDP The teams will be evaluated on: 1. Ability to Structure the problem 2. Analytical skills & Originality in thinking 3. Teamwork and utilization of all team resources 4. Final presentation Please note that the group dynamics playing out will also be closely observed and the overall group’s success will determine the success of the individual members i.e. if the group fails as a whole then all members will fail to qualify for the interview round. ====================================================================== ========= Farmer suicide in India has been a key problem to address.
