Ravenslade are thrilled to have provided project management for NPS on this exciting project to completely refurbish the 1960s iconic city centre building. Many of the original features have been retained and the building has been sensitively transformed into a stylish, spacious, sunlight-flooded new public space. The scheme also provides a new approach to the library called Rougement Place which has been landscaped to provide a pedestrian friendly environment that is used for outdoor events. A special feature in the entrance foyer is a stunning LED-lit wood and glass sculpture by westcountry craftsman Will Shakespeare called Stack of Books.
