El vermut, es un paso entre el hambre y la sed, un momento para quedar y charlar sobre la experiencia de la semana, un domingo cualquiera, o en cualquier pueblo de Mallorca, a la de las doce del medio dia y en cualquier bar era el momento del vermut, o vermú.
Era ante todo un acto social, una reunión de amigos, conocidos y familiares para hablar un poco de todo, del partido de la tarde, del tiempo, del vecino el amigo, de todo un poco y eso si de política poco.
La idea de crear en soller un lugar en donde poder comentar el dia cotidiano, o simplemente la reunión De ahí nace el Bruc el hijo pequeño de casa Alvaro y bien pensado ya que no solo se vende vermut pues también cerveza para el clásico o vino para la doncella, el Bruc a pocos pasos de casa Alvaro es un lugar pequeño acogedor, donde puedes encontrar uan cerveza fría, vinos de calidad y por supuesto el vermut ya tanto mencionado, y al mismo tiempo comer una conserva de mejillones o quizás de berberechos y de vez en cuando ostras frescas traídas del mercado, no sin olvidar las tapas que veras en su mostrador, una conserva de calidad o a la maravillosa Gilda (piparra, anchoa y aceituna, básicamente).
El bruc no es solo es para el medio dia del sábado cuando hace ese calor, también para la noche mientras esperas mesa si es que has reservado en casa Alvaro, o en cualquien otro lugar , el bruc es simplemente un espacio para estar en donde compartir un mojito una caipiriña o una buena copa de vino y charlar, visítalo!!
