The BCS/CAS Certificate of Computer Science Teaching
• Certify competence in CS teaching at primary and secondary
• Evidence-based1. Commit to maintaining subject knowledge and skills (at
least 15 hours CPD)2. Demonstrate CS knowledge and skills (programming
project or recent qualification)3. Demonstrate understanding and application of pedagogy
(classroom project/investigation)• In pilot phase, starts September 2014
