LS Trader is a financial spread betting website. Phil Seaton, the developer of the LS Trader

system originally began trading back in the late 90s. At that point he had yet to discover the

secrets to trading success and was apt to try virtually anything out on the markets. He then

worked on this approach over the next few years, testing every idea or concept that he could

come up with or that others had used previously and ended up with a few core principles, a

trading philosophy and a complete set of trading rules which were very robust and very

profitable over the long term.

As part of our strategy, we built landing pages throughout the website focusing on one main

keyword per page. We optimized every internal page with correct keyword density, good

metatags and we created high PR backlinks back to those newly created pages. Essentially,

we proposed a three stage plan to the LS Trader team. Stage 1 consisted of optimizing all the

main web pages. Stage 2 consisted of optimizing all the articles. Finally, stage 3 consisted of

integrating SEO into the business processes.

This was one of our greatest achievements in terms of rankings and traffic. LS Trader’s

rankings soared for all of the words we were optimizing and in addition to this, the traffic went

into the thousands. Their traffic reached 68,435. The Google Analytics screenshot is shown

on the left. They now have lots of pages ranked in the search engines.

• Unique visitors doubled after just 4 months once we had completed our optimisation.

• Traffic increased from just 6,800 a month to 68,435 per month.

CTenergysavings.com provides Connecticut electricity customers with helpful information on

electric deregulation as well as a detailed comparison of electric rate plans, the ability to

switch suppliers and lower your bill.

Their goal is to offer one comprehensive resource that allows their customers to save time in

identifying suppliers, comparing the low rate plans they offer and switching to a new supplier.

They provide detailed information on each of the suppliers' plans and their electric rates

allowing their customers to make an educated decision on what option works best for them.

Once you have selected a supplier, their easy enrollment process will help you "make the

switch" to a new supplier.

Having understood her requirements, we started working with Michelle to identify 10 main

keyphrases that she wanted to rank highly for in Google, Yahoo and Bing. We first introduced

several new landing pages to her website and then we optimised each page including the

homepage. We also started an aggressive link building campaign to help with her rankings

and to increase the overall value of the website.

This website was actually a really exciting website for us to undertake. Evergy is a niche

market and it was important to understand that the focus was not in getting hundreds of

thousands of visitors to the website but instead it was about getting good quality traffic that

converted.

•Unique visitors increased from 500 to 12,805 per month.

•The number of website leads increased by 30 times.

•Total traffic of the website reached over 15,000 per month - 15,884 to be exact.

•We reduced their bounce rate from 80% to 40%.

Given this was a niche market and lower volume that our other clients, we still managed to
