PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Ms. Dobson is an associate with the firm, assisting purchasers, sellers, lenders, borrowers, landlords and
tenants in various real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing and leasing. Prior to
joining the firm, she practiced commercial real estate law in the San Antonio office of Cox Smith Mathews
Incorporated and Dykema Gossett PLLC.
DETAILS OF PRACTICE
Representative transactions:
Represented a national quick-serve restaurant franchise in real property sales, acquisitions and leasing
throughout Texas, New Mexico and Alabama.
Represented a Mexican real estate investment firm in acquiring Texas investment properties and obtaining
a $100MM portfolio loan.
Represented an institutional lender in multiple real estate-secured transactions totaling over $300MM.
Assisted a major refiner in the acquisition of a refinery, sulfur plant, terminal and gas station sites in
California.
Assisted a client in the sale of over 65 of its gas station sites in south and central Texas.
HONORS
Ms. Dobson was an articles editor of the Baylor Law Review, a member of the Order of the Barristers, and the
president of the Natural Resources and Environmental Law Society. Her comment, “This Land Is Your Land:
Tran v. Macha and the Hostile Intent Standard in Texas Adverse Possession Law,” appeared in Volume 64 of
the Baylor Law Review. She represented Baylor Law School at the National Security Law Moot Court
Competition in Washington, D.C. and at the National Health Law Moot Court Competition in Carbondale,
Illinois.
