- The Carlson Family of

Klamath Falls, Ore., has just

opened Carlson Furniture,

Mattress & Upholstering Co.

The store will offer

residents new furniture, the

store’s very own Carlson

brand mattresses and other

items for the home. The

Carlson family will also

offer custom upholstering

services and complete

furniture repair in the

store’s shop.

The store will be operated

by Emil Carlson and his two

sons, Mel and Gene.

“The people of the Klamath

Basin shouldn’t have to

travel great distances just

buy top-quality furniture

and bedding” said Emil.

“They needed a store here

in town. And so we have

opened Carlson Furniture.”

“We’re going to promise

our customers one thing:

we will stand behind every

piece of furniture and every

mattress we sell” added Mel.
