Before 9am Meet in the Year 7 area on Everingham Street, move
into Contacts.
9:15am Whole School Welcome Assembly
10:00am Move back to Contacts, receive timetable, Lower
School Assessment policy and diaries
Activities: Teacher directed- go through diaries,
students can highlight and use sticky notes to pin point
important information.
Timetable: Use highlighters to match subjects on
timetable to map in diary
Lower School Assessment Policy: take students
through step by step
10:50am Take students to Canteen early
11:04am Recess
11:25 Contact- Notices read and function of Contact explained
11:35 Period 3, 4, 5- stay in Contact groups/Period 3, 4, 5 groups
with Period 3, 4, 5 teacher.
Period 3 and 4 Rotation
• Contacts 7A to 7D- in computer labs setting up student’s individual
logins and
showing students how to use Connect.
• Contacts 7E to 7H- Mapping/Treasure Hunt around the school to gain
orientation of staff and buildings
Group activities then swap in Period 4
