POSITION AND SCOPE
As a member of Haztech’s Advanced Life Support (ALS) team, you will be responsible to assess / treat patient’s healthcare needs including maintenance of medical records.
You will administer nursing care to ill, injured, con-valescent, and disabled patients. Your wealth of knowledge will be relied upon to advise patients on their healthcare maintenance, disease prevention and/or provide occupational health case management. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company while providing a safe and positive work environment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.2. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.3. Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patient conditions.4. Record patient medical information and vital signs.5. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions.6. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.7. Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies, and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.8. Administer local, inhalation, intravenous, and oral medications.9. Develop relationships and rapport with all colleagues, contractors and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Completion of Recognized Registered Nurse (RN) Program
• Valid Practitioner’s License in Province of Work• Fitness / Physical Assessment Provided by Haztech• Clear Criminal Record Check
