Career Summary and Goals
I have a number of transferable skills to which I believe would make an excellent addition to the Human Services industry. My diploma and education in Human Services has fully prepared me to have awareness to the many roles I may be involved in. What sets me apart from others is my personality traits, I believe myself to be passionate about promotion and education on equality and strive to see a more diverse world.
One of my most observable traits is my sense of humour, however I am also aware that this comes with boundaries. I am non-judgemental and I feel it is a natural part of who I am to be able to maintain and promoted a neutral and safe environment for all involved. I am highly motivated and prepared to continually educate as I feel the industry is constantly evolving.
I have experienced a dynamic of addiction and abuse in the past which has sparked my interest and has lead me to this chosen career path. I feel I have an empowered voice which is now fueled by knowledge which will allow me the opportunity to support and help clients through life’s challenges.
My ability to remain neutral and confidential ensures that I will have a high level of performance within a team setting. I feel I work well with management that is direct and respectful but also is able to entrust my skillset to get the job done.
In the next 5 years I hope to be in a supportive role working within a community initiative that I am passionate about. I am confident that I will be an asset to any clientele I work with as I am ready to go the extra mile to provide the best quality of care.
