Worked as a Lead Consultant to conduct a study on "Finding the way towards genderequality and providing an overview of the development of trade unions, policy review on thewomen workers ground" funded by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (PES), in Association withKarmojibi Nari, Bangladesh from February 2016 to August 2016.

3. Worked as a Researcher to conduct Pilot Action Research on 'Integrating Gender & Nutritionwithin Agricultural Extension Services' Project by INGEANES in collaboration withDepartment of Women and Gender Studies, University of Dhaka from January 2016 to August2016.

4. 9. I have conducted one year intensive research on Household Diplomacy ,Responsibility andControl: Income access and women's Agency in Bangladesh under a fellowship provided bythe Dutch Embassy, Netherlands and Department of Women and Gender Studies, University ofDhaka.

Worked as a researcher under the project entitled "Women in Local Governance: Impact!Evaluation Study of the Women Members of the Union Parishads" This study is undertakenmainly to assess the role and performance of the women members : to evaluate whether thewomen have enhanced their status both in the family and the society and finally whetherthey have been empowered through the direct election.

11. Under my BSS thesis I have conducted a six months research in The Narayan Ganj Brothelareas; this research work included the experience and perceptions of the livelihood strategies ofSex Workers.

12. I have been guiding as research supervisor for both MSS and BSS students. I was appointed asexternal examiner to MSS thesis outside the Department in the broader University of DhakaAcademia.

13. Since I joined the Department of Women and Gender Studies, I have been actively involvedin developing several research proposals as well as research projects, which also widen myscope of research expertise.

3. 26 July to 27 July 2015 : Attended SAARC Gender Policy Advocacy Group (GPAC) atMarriot Hotel, Islamabad, Pakistan.

4. January12 to 14 2009: Participated in the training workshop on "Gender in our everydaylives"which was held on 12-14 January 2009 at the Special Seminar Room of Senate Building.Kamla Bhasin facilitated the training program.

5. Attended the 53 Session of UN Commission on the status of Women held at New York inMarch 2009.

6. May17 to 19, 2009: Attended the three-day training program on "Discourse Analysis in SocialResearch" from May 17-19, 2009 at the Senate Building of the university. The program wasdesigned for senior faculty members of different disciplines of Dhaka University. ProfessorDes Gasper, Institute of Social Studies, the Netherlands, facilitated the sessions.
