Assessment of the contractile properties of the heart by Speckle Tracking Echocardiography (STE) to detect the presence of early myocardial disease well before the occurrence of LV global function reduction.

RFQIMT e RFQAS are technologies used to measure the IMT and stiffness of blood vessel walls.
They work with radio frequency signals and provide extremely accurate measurements.

• User interface following the Manheim Consensus Protocol
• Measurements averaged on six heart beats for improved consistency
Quality Intima Media Thickness (RFQIMT) RFQIMT measure carotid artery’s wall thickness. Its combination of ease of use with real-time quality feedback help the operator achieve accurate and reproducible results. To assist physicians in their diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, the measurements (even when taken at different examination times) can be reported on a normalized graph represented by plot indicators.
Quality Arterial Stiffness (RFQAS) RFQAS measures the stiffness of carotid artery walls. Arterial wall stiffness is expressed as the pulse wave velocity obtained from brachial blood pressure and the accurate measurements of diameter and change in diameter. Local blood pressure at the site of the ultrasound measurement is also supplied. Local blood pressure and stiffness are derived from quantification results based on sophisticated clinical studies.
