Captains/Information Meeting • FGCU Fly By Night 50-Mile Relay

• Saturday, December 6th, 5 p.m.—Sunday, December 7th, 2 a.m.

• Location: Recreation Field 1, FGCU Main Campus

• Check-In: Saturday, Dec. 6th, 3-4:30 p.m.

50-Mile Relay• Relay Rules

• Captains must turn in a roster/waiver signed by all team members and submit it by 4:45 p.m.

• Course Map

• Timing/Scoreboard

What to Bring• Tents

• Liquids (Water, Gatorade, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, etc.)

• Food/Snacks (Proteins, Energy Bars, etc.)

• Chairs & Blankets

• Spirit Competition Materials

• DONATIONS• Canned proteins

• Tuna, chicken, salmon, sardines, ham spam, chili w/ beans• Canned fruit• Peanut Butter• Canned Vegetables NO GREEN BEANS OR CORN.• Heart soups NO CHICKEN NOODLE OR TOMATO SOUP• Rice

Spirit Competition• Teams will be judged at 8:30pm by the FGCU

Cheerleading club on:• Number of collected canned foods for the Food Pantry• Campsite design• Team member attire• Embodiment of school spirit

What Not To Bring• Alcohol

• Grills

• Items that require electrical outlets

• Large tent stakes

Check-In • All teams must check-in by 4:30 p.m. on Rec Field 1

• Roster/waivers must be submitted by 4:45pm

• Get your teammates who cannot arrive on time to sign the waiver prior to race day. • Participants that have not signed a waiver will be ineligible

• GET THERE EARLY! • We recommend teams arrive by 4 p.m. to set up camp

Event Schedule

3:00pm – Check In Opens4:30pm – Check In Closes (roster/waivers must be submitted)

6:00pm- Bingo game

7:00pm- Hula Hoop Contest

8:00pm- Second Bingo game8:30pm – Team Camp Spirit Judging

8:45pm- Ticket Raffle10:00pm – First team expected to finish around this time2:00am – Course Closes

Raffle Tickets• For each activity that you participate in you will be given a

raffle ticket.• If you win an activity you will be awarded with how ever

many tickets that activity is worth.• After the Spirit competition we will be raffling off a prize,

and whoever has the winning ticket wins.• You are only allowed to win up to 10 tickets at each

station.

Logistics• Parking

• All Participants must park in Parking Garage 1 or Auxiliary Parking Lot 8

• Aid Stations• Water and aid stations will be set up on Rec Field 1
