Charlene Stapleton will email log on info. to teachers on Oct. 31st prior to vo)ng day. During the week of Oct. 30t.-‐ Nov. 2nd, please encourage students to get informed about the presiden)al elec)on. Ask them to think about who they want to be our next president. On Nov. 5th, vo)ng ID slips will be distributed to each classroom teacher, please give them out to your 2nd period students on Tuesday morning, the 6th. The Media Center will be open for vo)ng all day.

I want to thank-you for making the first part of Jake's Freshman year at Matanzas such a positive and wonderful experience. You have given him confidence in himself that shows not only on a playing field, but in the classroom as well. Transition to high school is often an uncomfortable feeling for students and because you took the time to meet and coach him over the summer, he began high school with the enthusiasm I did not know he had! I only hope that he has the opportunity to be a part of your fabulous mentoring/coaching again in the future. You have definitely been an inspiration to Jake, his father and me.
