Welcome to the inaugural Canadian Western agribition Simmental Select Show and Sale. this has the potential to be one of the more exciting events held at agribition for a number of years. this is a new fresh format complimenting the ef-forts of the Saskatchewan Simmental association and your agribition Simmental sale management, Bouchard livestock. With the generosity of our sponsors,the committment of the Saskatchewan Simmental association as well as Bouchard livestock, some $20,000 in prize money will be awarded Wednesday evening of the agribition Sale. Isabella 16a is a brood cow in the making and definitely our kind of heifer. She is a carbon copy of her mother; strong-topped, wide, big-hipped, easy-fleshing, clean-fronted and has the same great disposition. her mother was purchased out of the agribition sale as a calf for our daughter and has turned into a big-volume, flawless-uddered cow that anyone would be proud to own. She was named Champion cow with heifer calf at the Swift Current Pen Show with Isabella 16a at side. She also had an awesome “King arthur” son that created a lot of interest last year with the same big, square hip and cleanness throughout. Isabella 16a is a beautiful, powerful heifer that could prove to be the cornerstone of any herd.

every year at the agribition Sale we offer one of our top heifer calves to represent our program. hayley definitely fits the bill. She is a very broody heifer that is very stout and deep-ribbed, all in an attractive, feminine package. her sire, SVS Scout, was one of the feature bulls in our 2011 bull sale and sold to Maxwell Simmentals. We retained semen on him. the progeny look great. the first set of bulls were very well received in this spring’s bull sale and we have a super set of his daughters. hayley has already been to town and did extremely well.
