DESCRIPTION
The lessons included in this unit were used for an ELA 30A class according to Saskatchewan curriculum guidelines. The poets that this plan looks at are Al Purdy, Earle Birney, P.K. Page and Leonard Cohen. A variety of forms are discovered, including spoken poetry as a poetry slam. This unit includes worksheets and an assessment tool.
