EMILY CARR
Emily Carr is a very talented Canadian Artist who paints paintings from the North West coast. She is from Victoria so not very far from here. I like her art because it is very detailed and has a lot of value and bold colours. She uses very precise lines and lots of organic shapes in her pictures.
Emily Carr was born on December 13, 1871 and died on March 2, 1945 at the age of 73. She was commonly associated with a group called the Group of Seven. The Group of Seven were a group of landscape artists from Canada.

great value and stands out as almost 3-D. I also like how the raven is the star of the painting. I really like the variety of lines in the piece.
