Help build Recovery Capital in Canada, reach over 5,000 conference attendees, sponsor and exhibit at Building Recovery Capital Events throughout Canada.The advisory committee is collaborating with communities and expanding on the enthusiastic momentum from 2018 to host a national outreach campaign to reduce mental health and addiction stigma, engage youth, increase access to services, and promote early prevention through events in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba that include: Recovery Capital Conference, Recovery Day, Clean Sober and Proud, a Digital Media Initiative, and our Living Legacy event.

We are amply qualified to do this.You will be investing in Recovery Capital, a new, important and evidence based concept in the field of addiction medicine. A person’s access to building recovery capital can mean the difference between their successful reintegration into community or becoming a fatality by overdosing. By joining our call to make 2019 the year Canada focuses on “Building Recovery Capital” you play a significant role in creating a platform to connect allied professionals, the general public and the government to identify national trends and develop practical localized action plans. Over 4,000 Canadians died from overdoses in 2017, not including alcohol. The cost to families is immense, and the cost to the Canadian economy is in the billions. It makes logical business sense to invest in recovery. For every $1 spent on recovery, the Canadian economy $7 in addiction related health care costs.Our goal is to change the narrative in Canada, to include Recovery Capital when treating addiction.

Target Audience Anticipated reach for branding Recovery Capital will be in excess of 5 million people via social media, digital and print ads. Events take place throughout 2019 over a one year period in Western Canada. Last Door’s Community Development Team specializes in social media reach, a proven track record can predicate significant viral online reach to help Canadians understand what Recovery Capital is and how to build it in communities and workplaces across Canada.
