KSHS 10,340/- Canadian High Commission student visa processing fee payable by Bankers Cheque payable to: High Commission of Canada  (with principal applicant’s name in brackets). If you require our assistance in preparing the bankers cheque we can do so for you. In this case, the bank charges for preparing the cheque will be Kshs. 500. o  VFS Canada Application C entre processing charges of Kshs. 2,685 payable by cash. o Fully filled up, dated and signed Study Permit Form IMM1294, Schedule 1 Form IMM 5257B, Use of Representative Form IMM 5476 if applying through a representative and Consent Form if applying through VFS Canada Application Centre. If you are unsure about certain areas to fill leave them blank and our student recruitment officers will assist you. o Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificates and passport copies of spouse and children, if any, whether they are accompanying you or not. o Other documentation like family, financial, employment, property ties i n order to satisfy the visa officer that you will return to your country of residence after your stay. o Original and a photocopy of the Letter of Acceptance from an educational institution on Canada. o Proof of tuition fees payment. o Proof of current and previous studies o One page Study Plan containing the following information:- 1. Why do you wish to study in Canada in th e program for which you have been accepted? 2. What is your overall educational goal? 3. Why are you not pursui ng a simil ar program in your countr y of res idence? 4. What research have you done into studies in your country of residence/citizenship? 5. How will this program enhance your employment opportunities in your countr y of residence/citizenship? 6. What ties do y ou have to your count ry of residence/cit izenship? 7. If it has been more than 2 years since you have left full time educa tion, please provide your Curriculum Vitae. 8. In the case of a minor applicant, wh at are your reasons for studying in Canada? What is your parents’/guardians’ immigration status in their current country of residence?  o Notarized authorization by father AND mother for any unaccompanied minor under18 and an  Affidavit from the gua rdian in Canada (Custodianshi p Declaration) and present original authorization upon entry to Canada. o If a minor is travelling with only one parent, custody documents or notarised letter of consent from the other parent is required and the original of authorisation should be presented upon entry to Canada. o Original birth certificate for minor children. o Copy of plane ticket or reservation. o Proof of scholarship, if any. Sponsor o Proof of financial situation from you or your parents in form of recent bank Statements of between USD 30,000 35,000 or a bank book for the past six months from financial institutions.  You will need about CAD 10,000 a year for your living expenses, plus tuition fees and the airline ticket. o Fixed deposit accounts, if any. o Copy of sponsor’s ID card or passport.

o  If the sponsor is employed, a letter from the current employer is required and this shouldstate the job position, years of service and salary.Pay slips for the past four months, pin number certificate and proof of income tax Payment.

o  If the sponsor is self-employed, the business registration certificate,Memorandum of association, financial statement, pin number certificate and proof of income tax

Payments are to be presented.o  Completed Undertaking of Support Form.(please find attached the form )

o  Lawyer sworn affidavit of support, stating that the sponsor will be paying for tuition feesand living expenses during your studies in Canada. (Sample attached)  

o  If third party is sponsoring you, he/she must provide a letter explaining why he/she will befinancing your studies.

o  If that person is a relative, proof of relationship inform of birth certificates.o  Other supporting documents like investments, properties, income from rental properties, share

certificates, lease agreements e.t.c.

o  Requirements vary on a case-to-case basis and additional documents or apersonal interview may be requested for in addition to the above.

o  Submission of fraudulent documents or misleading information will result in arejection of your visa application. In addition, applicants may be determinedto be inadmissible to Canada.
