Quebec

The capital city of Quebec is Quebec City. The main language spoken is French The provincial Quebec flag was adopted

in 1948 on January 21st. It is a white cross with four fleurs-de-lis

on a blue background. The provincial flower is the blue flag iris.

It looks like the fleurs-de-lis. It replaced the lily in 1999.

The provincial bird is a snowy owl. It nests in the northern Tundra region

during the summer. It was adopted as the provincial bird in

1987. It is a meat eating bird. Unlike other birds it hunts during the

day aswell as night.
