Camtasia - Using Relay

1. Open Camtasia (TechSmith) Relay. Select the Presenter button. Enter your ECU Username

and Password and click the Log in button.

2. Click on the Audio icon and select the microphone you will be using. Test the microphone by

clicking the blue test button and recording a short test. You should see green bars moving in

the Audio Input Level area if the microphone has been set up correctly.

Press the stop button when you are finished your test. Relay will replay your recording.

3. When you are ready to begin recording your presentation, click the red record button.

4. When you are finished, click the Stop button. It will take up to a minute to finalise.

5. [Optional] Use the trimming button to trim the beginning and/or end of the recording.

6. Enter a Title for your recording and click the Submit button.

7. For best results, leave your computer open, active and connected to the network for at least 10

minutes to allow the recording to upload to the server.
