This week we’ll sing some songs that you could sing around the campfire or on a car trip.

Activity #1: Campfire Songs!

Teaching Procedure

Save paper and ink! Just read the PDF and don’t print it. All the instructions are given in the module on

Read the lyrics to “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”

Activity #2: Read the lyrics to “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”

Watch the video.

Replay the video and sing along!

Activity #4: Write a Parody of “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”A parody or musical parody is when you change the lyrics to something funny using the same melody of a song.

For example, you could sing “I hope we have ice cream for din-ner” to the tune of the first line of “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”

Or you could try: “ I want to go to the beach, soon” ; “I don’t like to do home-work”

Continue writing your parody until you have a full verse.

The notation video for this song will help with the rhythms.
