CAMP PHILOSOPHYCamp Kef at the Kaiserman JCC is committed to providing an excellent, well-rounded summer camp experience where all children have the opportunity to gain knowledge, skill, self esteem, Jewish pride, lasting friendships and unforgettable memories, in a safe, nurturing and fun environment.

Powered by a dynamic staff and challenging programs for all ages, Camp Kef is the place to be! In fact, we have so much fun here that we named our camp ‘Kef’ which is Hebrew for ‘fun’.

Marci has been involved with the JCC since 1990 when her children began preschool. She started as a teacher for the 3 year old class and then after several years became the Children and Family Program Director. In 1991, Marci began working at camp as the Director and for ten summers, she led the camp to new heights with her creative ideas and challenging programs. When she left the camp position, she continued her involvement at Kaiserman by becoming a board member. Last year, she returned as Camp Director and with her awesome team, created “Camp Kef”. Marci’s experience, love of camp and the JCC will surely make the summer of 2015 full of special memories.

With the new Camp KEF comes a new face for camp. We have created Captain KEF as a role model for our campers. Captain KEF displays all the best attributes we instill in our campers. The captain embodies strength, imagination and fun (of course!). Presenting our campers with a powerful, creative and strong role model is key to creating a new wave of future KEF ambassadors. Not only does kef = fun, but it also equals a new system of campers, counselors, directors and educators working together to build a summer experience that will help inspire children, showing them there is a super hero inside all of us.

real live circus, big top and all.We are proud to be the premier camp in the area to offer Circus of the Kids, a unique and educational circus program where the children learn real circus tricks and star in a real circus show! It is the only program of its kind and will be returning to Camp Kef for the last week of camp. Swim programAll campers enjoy swim in our beautiful outdoor pools every day in either free swim, instructional swim or both. Campers are tested for ability and placed in small groups to learn and practice new aquatic and water safety skills. All of our swim staff are Red Cross certified and utilize drills, games and safety techniques to teach children.

The Philadelphia Rock Gym’s newest indoor rock climbing facility in East Falls, PA is a 15,000 square foot state of the art climbing facility featuring top out bouldering, over 40 top-ropes, lead climbing, walls for bouldering and roped climbing, fitness equipment, and thousands of square feet of the best climbing in the Philadelphia area. PRG-East Falls continues its tradition of offering excellent customer service in all aspects of the climbing life, with the best routes, the best instruction and the coolest walls around.

The purpose of the Skatium is to be a facility which will provide the residents of Haverford Township with recreational and learning opportunity in all disciplines of skating.The Skatium is a multi-use rink offering: family ice skating, ice hockey, figure skating, meeting rooms, camps and clinics.ICE
