Retreats include full use of vestments, Mass kit, monstrance, sound equipment, and plug & play AV equipment. Our staff will work with you to help you have the best possible retreat experience.

Covecrest offers all inclusive packages include lodging, meals, a meeting space and the activities listed below. Our hope is that these retreat package options will help you as a retreat planner to provide the best experience possible for your group, while at the same time simplifying your work. We understand that some groups may require a combination beyond what is available as a standard option. We will work with your group to make the retreat you desire possible.

• No linens or towels are provided except at St. Rita’s Lodge. • Meals will be assigned based on group size. Please submit your

schedule with our staff to confirm your assigned meal times. • Lodging & meeting room will be assigned and scheduled with our

staff based on group size and is subject to change. • Guests are expected to clean their lodging & meeting room

before departure. • A 5% Rabun County Lodging Tax will be added to all lodging

fees.

Additional Activities While Covecrest offers a wide range of activities at no charge, we also provide activities that require an additional fee. We encourage you to consider these community building activities. High Adventure Options Our High Adventure Options allow groups not only to grow in important life skills but also to draw closer to Christ. These elements encourage dialogue to examine their life in Christ as they journey with our staff.

Climbing Elements: Groups will ascend 35 feet while learning commitment, building self-confidence, overcoming fears, developing trust and encouragement of others. It includes the Rock Wall, Jacob’s Ladder and the Cargo Net. Koala Course: This adventurous static course nestled in the woods tests strength, courage and focus. It includes the Wobbly Bridge, Pirates Crossing, Grape Vine, Zip Line and Log Crossing. Low Ropes: This course teaches team work, leadership, communication, problem solving and decision making using more than 10 elements.

Procedures and Policies 2016 Retreat Booking Process: • Now: Call Covecrest to check available dates – compare the available retreat dates with your Fall/Winter/Spring schedule to see what

weekends/weekdays work best for you and your teens. • Pick your date: Tell our staff which available dates you want to book along with the number of guests (chaperones & teens) you expect and we

will send a Reservation Agreement to you to be signed. • 2 Weeks After receiving contract: A 10% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT with signed contract is due payable by check or credit card. • Less than 60 Days Prior to Date of Arrival:  if you CANCEL you owe 80% of final balance, this includes the already paid 10% NON-

REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT -or- you can still host your retreat with us and reduce your numbers to 75% of the total number of guests originally booked.

• 1 Week Prior to Date of Arrival: Contact Covecrest with final guest count  (including chaperones & teens). • Date of Arrival: Final payment due during office hours payable by check, cash, or credit card.

Adding/Dropping Spots:  • Upon booking, you give us your total expected number of guests (chaperones & teens). • 1 week prior to the Date of Arrival a final count is needed (this number should include chaperones & teens). • Additional Guests - The total number of guests may be increased only after verifying space availability with Covecrest. You will be responsible

for paying the additional amount upon arrival. • Subtracting Guests - You can reduce up to 25% of your total number of guests without a penalty up to one week prior to arrival date - if the

reduction is more than 25% of total number of guests you will still be required to pay for 75% of the total number of guests booked.

Cancellation Policies: • 10% Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. • Parishes will be responsible for payment in full for original contracted guests spots not dropped by one week prior to the event.

Other Activity Options

If you need to add meals to your package to accommodate the length of your stay or extra guests that’s no problem at all. We cannot guarantee that meals will be during the week if you’re staying at St. Rita’s Lodge.
