Academic Programme Director's message

Be prepared to take the next step in your career.

Kishore SenguptaAcademic Programme

Director

The Cambridge Senior Management Programme(SMP) is a unique global learning journey designed and hosted by faculty from Cambridge Judge Business School.

Senior faculty from Cambridge Judge Business School will lead you and your group along the path towards renewal, change, and transformation.

Participants will benet froma structured approach across the modules. Module one delves into strategy and execution, the foundationfor the successful running ofa business unit or company. What strategies emerge in the light of new economic and business realities? Is your strategy right for this new era, and how can an organisation identify paths of change to sustainable competitive advantage? Have you linedup the right pieces in the organisation to follow suit?

Module two focusses onthe rapidly changing technological and digital environment of today. Participants will understandhow to leverage digital technologies to create or

modify customer experiences and culture, and business processes, thus meeting changing needs of the customer and the market. Some of the important questions addressed in the modules are: What are the challenges and opportunities? How will your business model change? How do you need to adjust your strategy in the light of this disruption? Do you need to totally review it? What is the impact on your supply chain? Might you need an exit strategy?

Module three will be delivered as an online module and will focus on providing you with the tools and frameworks of business analytics: biases, experimentation, descriptiveanalytics, prescriptive analytics, predictive analytics. How do you learn from data and make decisions? How do you navigate the organisational, legal, and ethical issues involved in data-based decision making? These are just some of the questions that will be addressed.

In module four, participants will learn to drive organisational transformation

and change initiatives that will boost the organisation’s competitiveness and protability. They will seek answers to challenging questions: How will your organisation evolve going forward? Do you have the right people and organisational structure to deliver true transformation and sustain it over time? Are you ready for the next step in your career as you embrace change?

Executive coaching forms the vital backbone to the learning journey. We work with a team of senior, experienced coaches who will help you take stock, reect, and discover more about yourself, all in preparation for change and impact after the programme has ended.

We will convene the right participants, faculty, and contributors to make the SMP memorable, transformational, and impactful. We look forwardto welcoming you to Cambridge.

4

The learning process is not one-way—we ‘teach’ part of the time, but this experiencebecomes really valuable when weco-develop with our participants, and in this way they are able to build up essentialnew skills andcapabilities to takeback to theirorganisations.”
