School News News from the Library: The San Antonio Book Festival is a fun family activity that is free! It will be on 2 April at the Downtown Central Library and the San Antonio School of Art. Two of Cambridge students' favorite authors will be speaking. Nathan Hale, the author of Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales, will be speaking at 12:30pm in the Copper Kitchen at the Southwest School of Art. Cambridge students love his books! Also, Pam Muñoz Ryan will be speaking at 2:3pm in the Copper Kitchen. Her book, Echo, won a Newbery Honor Medal this year and will be a Bluebonnet Book next school year. There will be many other children's activities for you to enjoy. Please see the complete schedule at www.saplf.org/festival.

FRIENDS OF STRINGS PLANT PICK UP: If you or your child sold flowers as part of the Friends of Strings Plant Sale, come to the back of the Alamo Heights Junior School on Saturday, 2 April 2016, to pick up your plants. The pick-‐up times are by the first letter of your last name: A-‐E (11:00am-‐11:30am), F-‐L (11:30am-‐12:00pm), M-‐R (12:00pm-‐12:30pm), and S-‐Z (12:30pm-‐1:00pm). If the total of your sale was $250 or more, your entire plant order will be delivered to your home. Those who sold plants are responsible for delivering the plants to their customers. There will be on-‐site sale of plants from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the AHJS. On Sunday, 3 April 2016, extra plants will also be sold at the Carousel Shopping Center from 10:00am to 2:00pm. If you are out of town during the plant pick-‐up, please have someone else pick up your plants. Volunteers are welcome to assist on Saturday, 2 April 2016, at the AHJS, especially those with trucks and/or trailers. BOY SCOUT TROOP 59 NOW RECRUITING 11-‐14 YEARS OF AGE: JOIN THE EXCITEMENT! In Boy Scouts your son will have lots of fun, learn new things and make new friends. But Boy Scouts is much more than that, it is fun with a purpose. Everything he will do in Boy Scouts – ceremonies, earn awards, camping, sports, games and crafts, will be done with a specific purpose in mind. Join us for fun and tradition with monthly campouts, one week-‐long summer camps, and the older Scouts regularly take trips to a BSA High Adventure Base and participate in the Boy Scout Natonal Jamboree. Todo lo que hará en los Boy Scouts -‐ ceremonias, ganan premios, camping, deportes, juegos y manualidades, que se hará con un propósito específico en mente. Únase a nosotros para la diversión y la tradición con campamentos mensuales, campamentos de verano de una semana de duración, y los Scouts mayores toman regularmente viajes a una alta Aventura Base de BSA y participar en el Boy Scout Jamboree de parage.
