1. Practicing for Cambridge Exams Students who are interested in aligning their education with Cambridge exams are encouraged to join this preparation program.

The following is a general plan. However, each student will be directed to the appropriate group according to the placement test results and the teacher’s recommendations after the first 3 sessions.

Primary 1 will be prepared to sit for the Starters exam. Primary 2 will be prepared to sit for the Movers exam. Primary 3 will be prepared to sit for the Flyers exam. Primary 4 & 5 will be prepared to sit for the KET exam. Primary 5 & 6 will be prepared to sit for the KET or PET exam.

Prep. 1 will be prepared to sit for the KET or PET exam. Prep. 2 & 3 will be prepared to sit for the PET or First Certificate exam. Sec. 1 & 2 will be prepared to sit for the Advanced exam. Sec. 2 & 3 will be prepared to sit for the general IELTS exam.

Schedule: Students will sit for 90 minutes, for 20 sessions throughout the year, after the school day on Thursdays or Saturdays – to be announced.

Prerequisites: Students need to take either an online placement test or sit for a placement test at the British Council or the AUC and bring documentation of the result. Note: Primary 1 , 2 & 3 students do not need to sit for the test. They head to Mr. Hany’s office directly.

Discipline & Assignments ( Primary 5 & up ): 1. NO DISCIPLINE PROBLEMS OF ANY SORT ARE ALLOWED TO OCCUR. 2. HOMEWORK IS TO BE TAKEN VERY SERIOUSLY. STUDENTS WHO DO NOT ABIDE BY THESE 2 RULES WILL BE WARNED TWICE AFTER WHICH THEY WILL BE DISMISSED WITH NO OBLIGATION OF ANY KIND ON THE SCHOOL PART.

Attendance: Students are only allowed to skip a maximum of 3 sessions throughout the year and a letter signed by the parent needs to be submitted.

Eligibility: At the end of the year the teacher will include students who are ready to sit for the exam in a list. Those will take the exam either at the AUC premises or the British Council as the school announces.
