TIPS FOR A CORRECTINSTALLATION

MAXIMUM COMFORT The areas of coverage may vary depending onheater model, installation height and synergywith additional heaters installed. To optimize user comfort, it is recommended toconsider heat power, coverage area andrecommended installation height. Star Progetti offers free technical assistance to all its customers for correct sizing.

BASIC TECHNIQUEAs a basic technique it is advisable simulate the use of a spot lighting system where lamps are placed on the wall and aimed at the areas tobe illuminated. As in lighting, it is recommended to arrange thesources uniformly to reduce shadow areas andmaximize heated area. In the hospitality industry note that the longer thestay of the guests, the more irradiation is requiredto ensure adequate comfort. In case of high humidity levels, it is advisable to increase the amount of irradiation.

WHY CHOOSE INFRARED HEATERS FROM STAR PROGETTI

LOCAL WARMING In drawings (Figs. 1 and 2) you can see thedifferences between a traditional hot air systemand the heat produced by HELIOSA® SERIE 9. Like the sun, it is an immediate, ecological heat,without movement of air and without dispersion. With the local warming of HELIOSA® SERIE 9 it ispossible to heat only the areas of interest and forthe necessary time. The savings compared to traditional systems isover 70%.

TRADITIONAL HOT AIRSYSTEM The warm air rises upwards, formslayers and disperses in theopenings: people remain in the cold with high costs.

HELIOSA® SERIE 9As with light, the heat is aimed andmaintained, without dispersion,only on areas of interest. The resultis solar-quality heat, a comfortableenvironment, without noise anddust, only for the time necessary,with signficant energy savings: over70% because it only heats theareas of interest.

Fig. 2HEATER ORIENTATION To optimize heat efficiency, the wall-, ceiling- andsupport-mounted heaters must be oriented at45° and at the distances recommended in theinstruction manual. The 45° installation allows a larger heated area and a transverse heat that better reachesthe surfaces to be heated, both on persons andobjects. The intersection of the heat beamsallows, with a good installation, uniformcoverage of all the areas desired.

WALL INSTALLATION It is the most frequent solution and allowsplacing the heaters in a way that is non-invasive to the interior design. For wallinstallation each model includes an accessoryfor mounting and orientation.

INSTALLATION UNDER LARGEPARASOLS AND AWNINGS For these installations, connection accessoriesare provided for each model (page 25).

SIZING Free technical assistance is offered to all ourcustomers for correct sizing.

HEATED AREA The heated surfaces indicated may varyaccording to installation height,environmental situation and the synergyachieved with additional heaters installed. Inthis last-mentioned case, the results can beimproved.
