PLEASE STATE VARIETY OF PRODUCE ON ENTRY TAG IF KNOWN. MUST BE THIS YEAR’S GROWTH AND GROWN BY EXHIBITOR—NO PURCHASED PRODUCE PERMITTED.

Competition open to residents of Tuscarawas County. All exhibitors must purchase a 4 or 7-day fair pass. All produce must be in sound condition. All vegetables that require plates please use only paper plates and they should be no larger than needed to display produce. All entry tickets must be fastened to paper plates or to vegetable. Remove claim tickets and bring back to pick up items at the end of the fair. There is a doorway opening on Fair Lane for those bringing in and removing produce and flowers. This door will only be open during those hours when produce and flowers are to be brought and removed from the fair grounds.

3. Vegetables, flowers, or fruit may be used in the exhibit, but vegetables and fruit decay within the course of the fair week is strongly discouraged.

4. Use of commercial or rubber masks are discouraged. This will enable scarecrow to have a more homemade look.

Note: This contest is designed to be a “Fun” category with entries expressing the originality and creativity of the exhibitors. Scarecrows may be loveable, mischievous, humorous or whatever the exhibitor decides to use to express his or her idea.
