FORUM OF EYP SPAIN

What do we wish to challenge? There are many things a Media Team can do for a session; create memories, conceptualise moments, and give that extra flare to the session. But what next? That’s it. A finite experience, only ever to be looked back upon as something of the past. Something brilliant, wonderful, and memorable, no doubt, but regardless: of the past. Why must things be so determined, so encircled? What if we looked beyond, and did something more. What if, we create mindsets, not just memories, what if we conceptualise attitudes, not only moments, and what if we gave that extra flare to life, not merely the session?

What do we want? Our primary focus for this forum is not to create quality and unforgettable output. This we see as the effect and result of our greater priority; fostering ownership, realisation of capacity and responsibility, and an unequivocal sense of team unity. We both individually are driven by developing people, and so in Zaragoza we intend to join our forces to develop those around us. It is our paramount ambition to find purpose, inspire dedication, and to unite the people in our team, who will in turn impress even themsel-ves with their output of wonder, brilliance, and memorability.

Who do we seek?As we envision it, our team will consist of two Members of the Editorial Team (one Editorial Assistant and one Video Editor) and ten Media Team Members. It is our intention to integrate a technically strong Editorial duo in our team to contribute to the broad scope of talents within the team.

The ideal team would have the ability to work towards a common vision by redirecting individual ob-jectives towards collective accomplishments. We believe in challenging the status quo, we believe in thinking differently, and what we seek is a team which does just this.

We wish to gather a team of experts in Zaragoza, with diversified skills and interests, so to foster an as-sorted collection of output in which every member of the team can distinguish themselves by stamping their name on their impact.

How will we work?Throughout the experience, the Media Team Members will contribute to two complementary elements of the forum, namely playing an integral role in their respective Committees, as well as contributing to the output of the Media Team through their Task Forces.

To utilise the individual talents of the team of experts and to create as diverse an output as possible, the working procedure of the Media Team will be executed using several Production Chapters throughout the experience, each of which focuses on one specific theme, adhering to the overarching vision. In prac-tice, this entails that with every Production Chapter, the Media Team will be split into Task Forces, which each focus on one target scope and consolidating different methods of output.

What should you remember? We can ask ourselves, are things so determined, so encircled? We argue no. We do look beyond and we do intend something more. We wish to create mindsets, and not just memories. We wish to conceptua-lise attitudes, and not only moments. And we wish to give that extra flare to life, and not only our imme-diate placement.

We are part of something bigger, no event is isolated, and no session is individual: it is all part of our journey. A journey which we have outlined here before you and we would be honoured if you were to join us on. Yours sincerely,
