PLAZA ARTIST MATERIALS & PICTURE FRAMING IS REQUESTING ARTIST PROPOSALS FOR AN UPCOMING MURAL IN CELEBRATION OF THE GRAND REOPENING OF OUR SILVER SPRING LOCATION.
The mural will be installed on the rear building of our Silver Spring location behind the store on Mayor’s Lane. The contest is sponsored in partnership with Montana Cans, the leading Artist Spraypaint brand in the world. All Supplies will be provided to the winner for the creation of the mural.
We are requesting unique submissions with no restrictions on style or theme. Entries must include one or more images of the mural concept in JPG or PDF format along with the title of the piece, name of the artist, and a brief description of the design inspiration.
While Plaza encourages creativity and imagination, material that is politically or culturally divisive, or inappropriate for the general public, will not be considered. For more information about Plaza Art, visit www.plazaart.com.
The winning artist will be selected by Plaza staff members and be contacted with further information following the selection.
