Southern California.Beautiful beaches. It is not filled with a lot of

corporate buildings.The city will be left with beach

condos and small shopping outlets.

Free of pollution and over population.

Good hiking trails to a beautiful waterfall.

Good California weather

ResourcesExpensiveA small home is estimated to be around 320,000.Median income is 40,000 to 50,000.Major employers are UCSB, Montecito FM INC,

and the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.Residents receive their power and water from the

El Estero Fuel Cell Project.

Hazard AnalysisSanta Barbara is a victim of fires, just last

year it endured a massive fire.Santa Barbara is prone to very large

underwater landslides.Underwater landslides can result in

devastating tsunamis.

drought of 1986-1991.

Water restrictions were made, including a ban on lawn watering.

Desalination Facility was built as an emergency water supply.
