Range is OPEN as per calendar

On arrival at the range please report to the range officer whose name is on the board BEFORE removing any firearms from your car.

Practice:When a competition is scheduled for either rifle or pistol range then that range is not available for practice. If time permits the range officers running the competition may allow practice after the competition is finished but this is not guaranteed.

Pistol practice (competition if required) is scheduled on the pistol range on Monday mornings 8am to 9.30am but only by prior arrangement with the range officer. Call Warren Francis before 6pm to confirm date and time 0436 031 127.

Scheduled rifle practice is shown on the calendar as “Open for Practice” with the names of the range officers running that session.

If nothing is scheduled on a range then a range officer may open the range for a practice session, by arrangement. All the restrictions regarding multiple use of the pistol and rifle ranges must be observed.

Arrival Time for Competitions

All competitors must be present 30 mins prior to the match start time to help set up and complete sign-on and other paperwork. Five mins prior to the match the book will be ruled off and closed to further competitors. This is to ensure matches start at the advertised time and allows two RO’s to be ready to start the match.

If the weather is bad please contact the discipline captain or one of the range officers running the practice to determine if the shoot is still on.
