HAVE A GREAT
WEEKEND!!!!!
2
From the Editor
MELISSA MIDDLETON, 2L SBA BOARD 2007-2008
Welcome Back! I hope each of you enjoyed your extended weekend. It was a great weekend for the NY Giants and the NE Patriots! I hope that you all had an op-portunity to break from your studies to watch their victo-ries. Although this is a short week, we have a lot of events on campus. Today, come celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King’s Birthday in Bannan 127 at noon or dis-cuss Hot Practice Issues Outside of IP with LCS in Bannan 142. Then, on Wednesday, join the Social Justice & Public Interest Coalition in Bannan 139 for a showing of their Social Jus-tice Legacy Film at noon. On Wednesday at noon, you can also overview the Indonesia Legal System with the Global Law and Policy in Bannan 135 or discuss IP with Kate Patterson in Bannan 127. In the afternoon, you can dis-cuss the political candidates health care policies or visit the Cowell Center for a ses-sion on stress management in law school.
To end the week, please help raise money at the Hurricane Katrina Fund-raiser that will be held ALL DAY on Saturday and Sun-day at Poor House Bistro in San Jose (near the Shark-tank). This is a great way to help out those who need it the most. We would love your support and hope to see you there! Also, don’t forget to drop by Law Career Day on Sat-urday. This is a great way to get a feel for what life is going to be like after law school. There will be a lot of valuable information to aid in your career setting goals. Have a great week! Very truly yours, Melissa L. Middleton SBA Print Editor
