Hello! And happy July! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Before we know it school will be starting again.
This month ICON will be going on in Memphis, TN. I hope many of you are planning to attend. It should be a fun filled week and a great opportunity to meet other key clubbers not only from our district, but our country as well.

History
-The first key club was started in 1925 by the Kiwanis in Sacramento, CA. It was designed to give guidance to boys in the school, thus they were the “key” students.
-The Minn-Dak district was formed in 1955.
-Females were officially admitted into key club international on February 4th, 1977.

Although dues are not due for a while, it is never too early to start thinking about them. Some clubs have not paid dues at all from the pervious year, and in order to be an active club in good standing these must be paid in addition to this years dues.
