performed demolition of

existing Lyon Bakery and ANA

towing office buildings

• Demolition phase is nearing

completion

Demolition – Measures & Controls

• Water spraying mounted hose and nozzles for dust suppression

• Continuous humidity/moisture content in the construction debris

• Prevention of dust from becoming airborne

• Portable water tanks cover smaller blanket of airborne dust areas without blowing any water or dust laden mist outside the property limits

to departing construction site

Demolition – Vector Control & Abatement

• Northstar placed ten bait stations around the perimeter of the site prior to demolition

• Department of Health bureau of community hygiene and rodent control division inspected the site on July 28th 2015 and issued clearance certification

• The contractor also hired Critter Control (Rodent Control company) as secondary measures

• Bait stations inspections reveal no evidence of rodents

• Northstar has requested follow up DOH site inspection post demolition

• Installation of Stabilized Construction Entrance, silt fence and super silt fence

as part of the Erosion and Sediment control measures

• Construction debris and Asbestos containing building material segregated,

covered and hauled off site for disposal

• 60% detail design complete

• Pepco will install up to 20,000 sf of PV Panels on the roof of the substation for station service
