Chairman’ s Message Welcome to the Summer edition of CADNEWS ® ! On behalf of the entire division, I would first like to recognize and express apprecia- tion to Jeff Drusda for his leadership of the Color and Appearance Division this past year. During Jeff’s term, our division was recognized with the Pinnacle Gold and Communications Excellence Awards by SPE. Under Jeff’s leadership, we also had a very successful CAD RETEC ® 2015 in Indianapolis, IN and two Color and Appearance Division sessions at ANTEC ® 2016. I hope you all had an enjoyable summer, although it has been a very hot one this year! As summer draws to a close and we approach the time for our children to start back to school or college, it will also soon be time for my, and hopefully your, favorite event of the year: CAD RETEC ® ! We are particularly pleased to announce several key note speakers, including Teresa Patton of InVisiOSM, Dr. Weiping Yu of NASA, Greg Autore of Purple Suit, Inc., and William DeVos of SPE. This year also fea- tures the return of the pre-conference seminar, “Coloring of Plastics” instructed by Bruce Mulholland and the New Technology Forum hosted by Sandra Davis.
