It is far superior in strength to a standard pulley of the same size. NEW KITE LINES The flying lines are now monofilament wound Dyneema lines. These high strength lines are not only low stretch and durable but are also much easier to manage when setting up your kite. KITE BAG For 2011 we have re-engineered our kite bags to fulfill all the riders needs. Starting with the regular kite bag, we have upped the volume size, moved the bar back to the outside and also brought back the board carry straps. With these new features it makes it easier for any budding explorer to load up in search of the new secret spot. Inside the bag we have also added an expandable storage option. With the combined use of both heavy duty materials in the high load areas, and light weight mesh to aid in airing the kite, we have created a fully functional, durable bag that adds even more opportunity to the rider with regards to storage. PRINTED CANOPY MATERIAL We roll print the pattern directly onto the raw, unfinished material. The performance finishing process of the material takes place after the roller printing. The benefit of this, is that the ink is now printed directly onto raw unfinished fibers of the base material so there is an excellent absorption of the inks. Since the finishing process takes place afterwards, this seals the inks permanently into the fibers in comparison to screen printing on top of the slippery, water repellant chemicals used in the finishing process. Since the inks are printed directly onto the raw white color material there is a very high absorption of the inks so the printed graphic is nearly the same on both sides of the material. When backlit from the sun the material is nearly identical on both sides. This also this makes extremely vibrant colors and illuminated designs previously unavailable using typical screen printing processes. Another Industry first for Cabrinha. HIGH PERFORMANCE RACE FABRICS The canopy is a laminate material using a lightweight double rip-stop sub-straight (base) material, fused together with a thin layer of polyester film. The total material weight is within a couple of grams per square meter to normal 53gsm canopy material. SAFETY AND SIMPLICITY The Intelligent Depower System (IDS) provides an amazing level of control with minimum rider effort and input. IDS is a simplified bridle and control system exclusive to Cabrinha. IDS produces virtually no bar pressure while delivering precise control of the steering and power of your kite. IDS is so intuitive that it seamlessly provides 2 stages of depower. Interactive Depower on Demand while riding, and stage 2 Depower method to land your kite. Stage 2 Depower functions similar to a 5th line system, but without the complexity of the unnecessary 5th line. Our IDS equipped kites use only 4 lines for a simple, uncluttered method of control and security. GET ON THE WATER FAST!The Sprint™* inflation system is a simple to use feature to quickly inflate your kite to an even pressure. The Sprint™ system uses a single inflation point to connect your high volume, two way Cabrinha pump. As you pump your kite with air, all struts and your leading edge inflate quickly and simultaneously to the desired pressure. The supplied pump leash and threaded valve connection keeps your kite under control even when pumping up directly in the wind.

BAR ENDSWe lowered the profile of the EVA floating bar ends. By lowering the bar ends we have better aligned the line winders with the bar. This makes the winders more secure when winding line onto them. In addition, the line winders have increased in size and its geometry of better shaped to hold the line in place.

The EVA bar ends now have Flex Tips. The flexible tips allows the lower half of the bar to remain firm when winding the lines onto the bar.

Recoil is a spring loaded function which always keeps the bungee trim adjusters contained and well within reach, making it the cleanest trim adjustment system on the market. With Recoil™ there is never a loose adjustment tail as seen with most above or below the bar trim systems.

The Recoil™ spring always returns the bungeed trim adjusters to their proper place along the depower mainline even after the kite has been fully depowered by the control bar. When you return the bar to the powered position, the bungeed trim adjusters automatically reset themselves to a place which is easy to reach.

Recoil™ also provides adequate resistance to momentarily unspin the bar to unwind the lines.

HARDCORE SEC Vertically laminated Paulownia produces a high compression, lightweight core. Paulownia has one of the highest strength to weight ratios of all wood species.The result is simple. Bullet proof, with a smooth, consistent flex pattern. Average Density: 310kg/ m³. Eco-friendly wood core.

QUADCAVEThe Custom, Caliber and Caliber X boards receive the very latest in 3-d bottom shaping with the concave and step bleeding through the perimeter of the board to increase tracking and create and allow true finless performance. The center flat sections reduce the boards tendency to stick on off axis landings and eliminate spray in the eyes by allowing the nose to rider higher.

CORE PROFILESAll our cores are produced with CNC milling. This means that every core is true to our design. Flex, profile and manufacturing consistency are all exact, every time.

ROCKERThe rocker is a key element in the overall feel and performance of your board. We use four distinct rockers based on the performance targets of the boards.

FUTURE FIN SYSTEMFuture fin boxes are the most user friendly and strongest removable fin system available on the market. The system offers all the positive features of removable fins, while providing better performance than glass-on fins.

FIBERGLASS LAMINATESEach board has its own unique layup. We have tested many different configurations of the laminate to produce the best combination of strength and weight. The cores are profiled to dial in the specific flex for a design. Then the laminate is applied to support the flex and increase strength.
