    L Pairs reserved for cable throw.

    Indicator Description

    T Displayed for each affected pair when

    reserved for cable throw. Cable throw

    indicates pair or pairs held for cuts by

    facility technician.

    NOTE: Pairs designated with T are not

    assignable unless a facility

    technician grants permission.

    H Displays H88 loads, indicating pair or

    pairs are loaded. (AZ DPI uses this to

    reserve facilities for marketing.)

    NOTE: Cable loading is only recorded in

    CA DPI and loaded pairs are not

    compatible w/some services (i.e.lines on AMLs, Meridian sets.

    etc.).

    Displays next cable pair in subscriber's network.

    When displaying cross-connected main (feeder) cable pair,

    this column displays the distribution cable and pair.

    System only displays cables looking toward subscriber.

    NOTE: A distribution cable does not display cable and pair

    feeding it.

    Equipment

    Displays central office line equipment associated to cable pair.

    Terminal

    ID

    Displays terminal feeding this service address.

    Comments/

    Notes

    For special notes or messages concerning a specific cable pair.

    NOTE: When AML is used in CA line assignment, it is

    necessary to press CMD8 (Override) to build a

    second cable pair. (AMLs are not used in AZassignment).

    Result: This is completed from Cable network screen in Line

    Card Maintenance and both pairs must be noted in

    comment field to show carrier and physical pair.
