H owling Wolves’ “SixPointSix” Cabernáto is uniquely made using only premium cabernet fruit from the world-renowned

region of Margaret River, in the Southwest of Western Australia. The fruit is harvested at a low Baume to fi nely control

sugar levels before the bulk of the wine undergoes a special fermentation to dry and naturally control the lower alcohol

while retaining a ‘natural’ sugar level of 115g/L. The remainder, which was held on juice, is then added back to create the

mouth-fi lling sweet-yet-dry fl avour characteristics of the fi nished wine with a mid-strength alcohol of just 6.6%.

The viticulture and winemaking practices effectively combine to produce a wine with an extraordinary

mouth-fi lling viscosity layered with a luscious sweetness, seemingly defying its lower alcohol.

COLOUR: A brilliant, luminous cherry blossom pink AROMA: Enticing aromas of fresh, ripe berries and

toffee apple PALATE: The palate is opulently layered with rich, ripe blackcurrants, fresh-made strawberry jam and tropical

passionfruit. All beautifully balanced, with a crisp, refreshing acidity and delicate mouth feel. BODY:Light FINISH: Finishes

with a well-balanced, refreshing acidity. Starts out sweet and finishes dry. ALCOHOL: 6.6% FOOD: The perfect

aperitif on its own or poured over a tall glass of ice, as the wine has been made to enjoy. Add a slice of lime or two

and a sprig of mint and create a super-refreshing Cabernáto ‘Mojito’ cocktail. It’s fabulous with canapés and fresh oysters.
