A hang condition can occur if the RESOLV command is

done from an online terminal, and the amount of

output exceeds 255 pages. This results in error

CA-7.020 - r11.3( ) DISK QUEUE TABLE I/O ERROR .

If this CA-7.020 only occurs a few times, then the

hang condition will not occur. However, if there

are several dozens of these, then it is possible

that the hang can occur. Using the /DISPLAY,PL=ALL

command the available storage in the NSP pool can

be checked to see if the amount is very small. As

long as there is over 100,000 bytes available,

there should be no problem. Also, if the RESOLVs

are done from a BTI or CCI terminal, then the

problem will not occur.

SYMPTOMS:

Possible hang.

IMPACT:

RESOLV command may not complete.

JFM DOES NOT SET REPEAT VALUE IN FORECAST


1) JFM does not build repeated successors of a calendar scheduled job.

2) JFM incorrectly modifies the estimated start time of a job that has

a submit time requirement.

3) JFM incorrectly displays part of the ObjectID as the Schid on

logging the requiredBy list BestFit entries when they contain a

non-zero schid.

SYMPTOMS:

1) JFM does not build the repeated successors of a calendar scheduled

job. If such a repeated successor is required by another job then

JFM may be unable to correctly determine when the requirement is

satisfied. If the repeated job also triggers other jobs, then

JFM will not include those triggered jobs in its workload

projections.

2) When a job enters the workload, JFM will set the job's estimated

start time to the submit time requirement if indicated. However,

the estimated start time is reset to the workload entry time

during requirement evaluation. This can result in inaccurate

workload projections.

3) When a job in the workload projection has a non-zero schid, and is

matched as a BestFit for a requiredBy list, it will display a very

negative value instead of the actual schid.

IMPACT:

1) This condition could result in inaccurate workload projections.

3) This condition is a cosmetic error only.
