1. プログラム趣旨

本プログラムは、工学または理学分野のバックグラウンドや興味関心を持つ学生を対象に、「スマートシ

ティ」をコンセプトとしてINSA Lyonが提供する短期プログラムである。関連する分野の講義受講を通じ

て、「スマートシティ」に関連する論点や方法論を全体的に理解することが主な目的である。また、フラン

ス語学習、文化体験や現地学生との交流による異文化理解も目指している。「７．プログラムの資格・要

件」を満たし工学または理学のバックグラウンドがあれば、「スマートシティ」に直接関連しない専攻の学

生も応募できる。

※INSA Lyon：Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon（国立応用科学院リヨン校）。グランゼコ

ールのひとつで、1957 年に創立された。INSA グループの中で最も古く、規模が大きい。キ

ャンパスのあるリヨン市（フランス南東部）は、ローマ帝国時代までに遡る歴史を持ち、

Jacquard や Guimet、Lumieres Brothers などの拠点がある産業都市でもある。

2. プログラム内容

プログラムは主にスマートシティ関連のオムニバス形式の講義（合計 18 時間）と、異文化交流スキル・外

国語としてのフランス語の講義（合計 12 時間）で構成される。また、フィールドトリップ（Annecy へのデ

イトリップ、ガイドつきの市内ツアー、コンフリュアンス博物館訪問）や、現地学生との交流パーティ、現

地家庭を訪問しての夕食会も含まれる。プログラムは英語で実施されるが、フランス語の講義も含まれてい

る。また、東北大学等、国内外の他大学との合同プログラムとなる予定である。詳細については、別添プロ

グラム資料を参照すること。

注：INSA Lyon が付与する 2ECTS は、必ずしも本学の単位への振替が保証されるものではない。

3. 期間

2020 年 3 月 9 日（月）～3 月 20 日（金）（3 月 8 日現地着、3 月 20 日以降現地発。）

学部学生（詳細は 7.プログラムの資格・要件参照）10 名

10 月下旬頃 学内応募締切（所属学部により異なる）

11 月下旬頃 学内選考結果通知（E メール）

12 月 20 日（金） プログラム事前説明会（オリエンテーション）

時間：午後 7 時 30 分～9 時 00 分

場所：本郷キャンパス理学部 1 号館東棟 Go Global センター多目的室 1

12 月上～中旬 INSA Lyon からのインボイス受領、プログラム料の支払い。

2 月 8 日（土） これより前の辞退の場合はプログラム料の 80%が返金される。

以降の辞退はプログラム料の返金不可。

3 月 8 日（日） 現地到着、チェックイン

3 月 9 日（月）～20 日（金） プログラム。3 月 20 日の授業終了後にチェックアウトする。

6. フライトについて

プログラム事前説明会（オリエンテーション）または E メールにて、本部国際交流課がフライト条件*を通

知する。通知を受けた後、条件にあったフライトを購入すること。個別にフライト条件を問い合わせる E メ

ールや電話には原則回答できない。フライト条件を通知する前にフライトを購入した場合や、指定された条

件に沿わないフライトを購入した場合は、プログラム参加資格を取り消す場合がある。また、それらの場合

により生じた経済的損失について、本学は補償しない。

*現地の発着空港指定、空路での到着限定、プログラム開始前の旅行禁止、発着時間帯の指定などを含む予定。

7. プログラムの資格・要件

募集要項に記載の資格・要件に加え、以下の要件をすべて満たすこと。

(1) Only engineering or science students（本学の場合、教養学部後期課程の統合自然科学科または学際科学

科または PEAK「国際環境学コース」、工学部、理学部のいずれかの正規課程に在学または進学が決定し

ている 2 年生以上であることが前提となる。）

(2) 英語での講義受講やディスカッションを行うことができる程度の英語能力（中級～上級）を有すること。

TOEFL iBT 80 程度～ または TOEIC750～ または IELTS6.5～を目安とする。（英語試験成績等のない

場合も応募を認めるが選考の際の順位は低くなる場合がある）なお、フランス語能力は問わない。

8. 費用

プログラム料金：1,550 ユーロ（授業料、2．に記載の文化体験等、キャンパス内宿舎（2 人部屋）の宿泊

費（3 月 8 日～20 日）、プログラム中の食事（月～金の 3 食・土の昼食）、プログラム中の

交通費を含む。）2 月 7 日までに派遣先が指定する口座へ各参加学生が海外送金する。

航空賃：6．に記載の通り、オリエンテーション等で指定する条件に合致する航空券を各自で手配するもの

とする。

※上に記載された以外の費用は自己負担となる。

要件を満たす者のうち、希望者には奨学金 8 万円を支給する。

11. オリエンテーション

プログラム採用者を対象に、プログラム事前説明会（オリエンテーション）を、12 月 20 日（金）午後 7 時

30 分～9 時 00 分、本郷キャンパス理学部 1 号館東棟 Go Global センター多目的室 1 にて開催する。プログ

ラム参加決定者は必ず出席すること。

Students experience a short-term program at INSA Lyon, located in France’s Capital of Gastronomy. They will learn new skills, earn credits while creating bounds and expanding their network. Our short programs are a stepping stone for further studies and a boost for their career.

Contact the short programs coordinator

in your university. He/she will gather your

nomination and send it to INSA Lyon. Required documents to apply : cover letter

+ resume + copy of your passport

All the applications will be reviewed within a

week. INSA Lyon will then contact you for payment and registration. A letter

of acceptance will be sent to you at the same time. In case you need a visa, please ask INSA Lyon for

an invitation letter.

When your application is accepted, you will have to send a copy of your

passport and an ID photo. Make sure your passport

(or ID card for EU students) is valid for

your trip to France.

A contract will be established between you and INSA Lyon.

Once you have signed the contract, you will receive an invoice to proceed with the payment before February

7th via wire transfer. If your university collects

payments, please contact the coordinator in your university.

Activities

Transportation during the program

DormsYou will share a double room with another student taking part in the SMART program. Your room is equipped with a small kitchen, a fridge, a kettle, cups, coffee and tea. There is a bathroom in each room (no hair-dryer). You will be given 2 tokens for the laun-dry service. Ethernet wires are provided for Internet access in your room. Otherwise, the campus is equipped with many Wifi hotspots.

CateringThere are 5 restaurants on INSA campus with catering available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

TRANSPORTShuttle tickets from the airport to the city center are provided. We will arrange your transfer to the campus.

DAY TRIP TO ANNECY, THE VENICE OF THE ALPSYou will visit the city and the medieval heart of Annecy, enjoy a view from the top of a castle, walk around the lake and stroll along the canals.
