You’ve worked hard for this day. Despite all circumstances, you’ve spent countless

hours on your studies, proven yourself as a leader, and embraced your God-given

talents. At Chapelle, you’ll continue to do this and more. Your new high school

home will provide you with the resources you need to be successful in and out of

the classroom. You will work hard—and it will pay off.

In a few short months, you’ll be walking our halls in C-socks and Docs. For the

remainder of the school year, continue to work hard. Finish the year strong. Take

New Chipmunk 101, for Parents!

Welcome to the Chapelle family! Please read the entirety of this packet, as it includes important information about finalizing your daughter’s enrollment and upcoming events.

Complete Your Chipmunk’s Registration

Online registration forms must be completed by Monday, March 8.

Go to www.archbishopchapelle.org/newchipmunkregistration to access registration forms, payment portals, and more information on your new Chipmunk’s upcoming Chapelle journey.

1. Complete the New Student Registration online form and upload your daughter’s necessary records.

Log-in to the same account you used to submit your daughter’s application. 2. Register a new account in the First Bank & Trust Tuition Portal. 3. Pay your daughter’s $700 registration fee via the First Bank & Trust Tuition Portal. Please note that

this payment must be received online by 11:59PM on Monday, March 8 in order to secure your daughter’s place in her class. If payment is not received by 11:59PM on Monday, March 8, the portal will close. Only cash payments will be accepted at “Green and White Welcome Night” once the portal is closed.

4. For 8th grade students only, please pay your student’s “ChipStart Summer Orientation” registration on the First Bank & Trust Payment portal.

5. Download the “Calendar at a Glance” and any additional resources you may need.

Wednesday, March 10

6:30PM – 8:00PM, Chapelle Gym All newly admitted students and a parent are required to attend our Orientation and Registration Night. Our Newest Chipmunk families will learn more about class schedules, following the Chapelle Handbook, how to get involved on campus, and more! Our 8th grade Chipmunks will carry on the exciting Chapelle tradition of ranking selections for their Big Sisters. Each transfer student will select their Transfer Buddy, who will help her navigate the ins and outs of campus. Take some time to brainstorm who could be a great Big Sis or Transfer Buddy before Orientation Night!

Please note that any outstanding student balance (i.e. registration, ChipStart, etc.) not submitted on First

Bank and Trust Tuition Portal by Monday, March 8 must be paid in cash at Orientation Night.

Registration for ChipStart is $275 and can be paid through the First Bank and Trust Tuition Portal. Payment for the program is due on or before Monday, May 10 at 11:59PM. If you are a Conditionally Accepted Chipmunk, please note that you must attend ChipStart and all Afternoon Skills Sessions. The Chapelle Uniform

Uniforms should be purchased at Schumacher’s Uniform Store, located at 3601 Hessmer Avenue in Metairie. Uniform order forms can be downloaded on the “Resource Page” when you complete your daughter’s registration. Monogrammed items may have the students last name, first and last name, or the first initial and last name. Items noted with (*) are available for purchase in the Chapelle Bookstore. Required Technology

Each Chipmunk personally purchases and owns a Google Chromebook, the required technology for Archbishop Chapelle High School. Any Chromebook 14” or smaller with a touchscreen is accepted. Chromebooks will not be issued through Archbishop Chapelle. Purchasing a protective case, a laptop warranty, and/or insurance is strongly encouraged. Contact Phil Jones, Technology Director at [email protected] for more information. Chromebooks will need to be purchased by the last week of May 2021. The Technology Department will set-up each Chromebook on-campus with necessary software prior to ChipStart Summer Enrichment. Parents—Regularly Check Your Emails!

Monthly updates will be coming from Emily Radcliffe, Director of Admissions, to parent emails submitted in your daughter’s application. In these emails, you will receive reminders about try-outs, upcoming events, and deadlines. Events will also be described to you so you will know exactly what to expect! February 26, 2021 Dear Parents, Congratulations on your daughter being accepted to Archbishop Chapelle High School for the 2021-22 school year. Please read this letter carefully so that you understand our methods of payment for the registration and tuition for the upcoming school year. Registration for 2021-22 (due no later than Monday, March 8th)

In keeping with our goal of making Archbishop Chapelle a cash free campus, the non-refundable registration fee of $700 is payable online via bank draft, credit card or debit card through the First Bank and Trust website.

a) The bank draft may come from your checking or savings account and there is no fee for this transaction.

b) Credit and debit cards will have a 2.99% processing fee.

The link to the First Bank and Trust website is located on the main page of the Archbishop Chapelle High School website. Once on the Chapelle webpage, find the green box titled Click Here for Online Incidental Payment. Click on the “I want to register” which is located on the bottom right. Complete the form, then read and accept the User Agreement. Click the “Register” button at the bottom to complete the sign up. You are now logged in and on the dashboard. Find the Incidental tab, choose Archbishop Chapelle High School from the drop down box, choose the option “STUDENT REGISTRATION 2021-2022” and follow the prompts. You may pay or schedule your registration payment prior to the March 8, 2021 deadline. If you experience any trouble with the First Bank and Trust website, please call the bank at (504) 584-5967 for assistance. If you do not plan to register your daughter for the 2021-22 school year, please notify the school in writing by Monday, March 8, 2021. In order to properly plan for the 2021-22 school year, registration must be paid by the above due date. A $200 late fee will be assessed for anyone who has not paid by this due date. If you have any questions or problems, please call the finance office. Tuition for 2021-22 (due no later than Wednesday, May 5, 2021) Tuition for 2021-22 is $9,450 and should be paid in the same three methods referred to previously in this letter (bank draft, credit card or debit card) by May 5, 2021 or you can take a bank loan with First Bank and Trust at 5% interest. If you do plan on getting a bank loan, we ask that you set up the loan when you go to the First Bank and Trust website to pay the registration, prior to

March 8th . The First Bank and Trust payments are made over 10 months with the first payment due in July 2021 and the last payment April 2022. If you set up the loan and later decide to pay the school in full, the school can cancel the loan at no cost to you as long as we are notified prior to May 20th. If your loan is cancelled after May 20th you will be responsible for the $35 annual loan fee, plus any accrued interest if the loan has funded. If you do set up a First Bank loan but later decide to pay the school part of the tuition, notify the finance office immediately so that your loan can be reduced. If under any circumstance a student is removed from school, fees or registration will be not be refunded. Tuition will be refunded on a prorated basis per the schedule below:

● From the first day of school through 1st quarter progress reports – 60% of tuition will be refunded.

● From the first day after 1st quarter progress reports through 1st quarter exams – 40% of the tuition will be refunded.

● After 1st quarter exams – no tuition refunds will be issued. Registration for 2022-23 Those parents paying 2021-22 tuition through the First Bank and Trust loan program will have the option of adding the 2022-23 registration fee to your 2021-22 tuition loan. When the spring of 2022 comes around your daughter will be registered for the 2022-23 school year and you will not have to pay the $700 at that time. Keep in mind that you still owe the $700 for this year. If you take advantage of this option and later decide that your daughter will not attend Chapelle for the 2022-23 school year, the prepaid registration fee for that year will be returned to you as long as you communicate this to us before our 2022-23 registration deadline. February 26, 2021 Dear Archbishop Chapelle High School Parent: We are pleased to inform you that First Bank and Trust and Archbishop Chapelle High School are again partnering for the 2021-2022 school year for the management of tuition and fees. First Bank and Trust offers a convenient, secure portal for the one-time payment of the registration fee, tuition, or the financing of tuition and approved fees. The following are some important highlights about your payment options. Archbishop Chapelle High School Fees and Payment Options: The FBT website will be programmed with the following fees for the 2021-2022 school year – Registration Fee (2021-2022), Tuition (2021-2022), and the Optional Prepaid Registration Fee (2022-2023). Payment of registration and/or full tuition will be accepted via the First Bank and Trust website through a one-time automatic bank draft, or with a debit or credit card. There is no fee if you choose to pay using a bank draft by providing your bank’s routing number and your account number. If you use a credit card or debit card as a form of payment, a 2.99% processing fee will be added to the amount charged. Easy Online Sign-Up : If you are new to the FBT website, you may log in at https://tuitionportal.fbtonline.com to set up your user identification and password. If you are an existing user, you will only need your User ID and password to set up your student(s) for the 2021-2022 school year. Once logged in, if you are accessing the website to pay your student’s 2021-2022 registration only, simply click on the “Incidentals” tab, select Archbishop Chapelle High School, then select the fee and proceed to the “cart” to pay after entering your student’s information. If you are accessing the site to set up a tuition loan or to pay tuition in full, you will be required to select the 2021-22 “Tuition” option under the Incidentals tab. Financing Option and Loan Terms: If you choose to finance all or part of your tuition, the annual percentage rate on the tuition loan for Archbishop Chapelle High School is 5.0%. This rate is fixed over the school term and there is no pre-payment penalty if you decide to pay the loan off early. In addition, there is no paper application and no credit check required. A ten month tuition loan will advance on June 1, 2021 and monthly payments will begin in July 2021. An annual fee of $35.00 will be assessed on the advance date of your loan and is billed on your first statement. Convenient Automatic Loan Payments: If you finance tuition, you will be required to set up automatic bank drafts for the monthly loan payments. You may choose a payment due date of the 3rd or the 15th of each month. A $25.00 fee will be assessed for any returned payment. If a returned payment results in a late status on your account, an additional $15.00 late fee will be added to your account and included on your next billing statement. In the event you may need to request a one-time change on your payment date, there will be a $15.00 special handling fee added to your payment for that month.

The First Bank & Trust website will be open and available for you to review your options and make selections beginning January 26, 2021. Our website is convenient and secure and our representatives are ready and available to assist you with the online process.
