    Bird Baby Bandit

Flying high in the skyies, looking for twigs and leaves

To take care of their young

    Like byrdz in the woods

But the byrdz who forget, how to build nests in trees

Spend their days on the wire

These are byrdz in the hood

Flying high in the skyies, the great byrdz of prey

    Were caught on video

    Taking the babies away.

(These are definitely not byrdz in the hood)

    Magic Wand

I be the Wanderer, cause I'm the Wanderer, I go around, round, round...

    There may not be

    No place for me

But I sho' to be everywhere there ain't

    When it rains in Africa

When it rains in africa, africa come alive

I smell the violet of the trees

    Violet, that triples in size

    trees that fly

a Zulu can not tell u, but I will try

man learned to build from the ants

    Ants! the Architect

and we get our rhythm from singing birds

birds that fly; we got our rhythm from the birds

I close my eyes to see the light

close my eyes, so I can see the lights

    Riding with the Undertow

Ive used up all my self-denial, I dont have any more hate

    Im riding with the undertow

    Holding on to the overweight

I know what goes around, Comes around again

Let it slide, let it slide

That's why I, let it slide

Because you can never know, What phase youll go thru next

Or when the disbelievers catch on, and cancel all your bets

But I let it slide, let it slide

That's why I, let it slide

You may be happy someday, You may have found yourself a friend

But you'll never be quite ready, For what happens in the end

That's why I, let it slide

    Let it slide, thats right

Whatever goes around, Comes around again

But I let it slide, let it slide

That's why I, let it slide

Aint got enough money, To buy your own suicide

But let it slide, let it slide

Thats why I, let it slide

So send me my denial and dont make me wait

    I ride with the undertow

    Holding on to the overweight

    Deep Sea Diver

A deep sea diver, she climbs the highest cliff

To take her chances, with the wild unknown

She spread her wings, and flies upon the depths

For the love of her life, for the test of her own

As her confidence prevails, she descends between the rocks

Into the ocean below, a free bird escapes the flock

It is all she now; he had crossed the line

Although her heart may stay, the mind she not leave behind

She goes to prove exactly, who and what I am

Even with all her faults, that dont mean a damn

Unless she know now, what Im without he

Unless she go fly, from the mountain to the sea

    Open Your Legs

So tell me gorgeous, is it asking too much?

For you to put down the phone, so we can go home and fuck.

What seems to be the matter, are you worried about us being alone?

Are you staying? or would you rather, me take your ass back home.

I just couldnt get to sleep, theres no need to be upset.

I put my up on her cheek, but shes too worried about a test.

Why dont you let me help you? I dont want to let you go.

Tell me what I have to do, and thats all I need to know.

I know that you still love me, but Im responsible for a child

Were no longer married, and I cant deal with you right now.

Now I dont understand, why you came into my shop.

You kissed the fingers on my hand, and said your dish was hot.

Im sorry about that; and please dont take me for a liar

After seeing you again, I know my love still burns like fire.

If what you say is true, he began to stroke her hair.

I know what we can do, walking slowly up the stairs.

Lets talk about it in the morning, and you can get some rest.

Whatever reason you being here, we dont need to talk about it yet.

    Why We Unsheathe the Sword

    Woe, woe contagious plight?

    Hit me once again

    Forces to lean right

    Me saga without a song

    Me shadow without me shine

    Now comes the truth

    Now comes the time

We are not displaced; we without origin

Boldly we go; before the harlequin

    Shame, shame, false serenity

Now mourn the death, caused by your stupidity

What is now in the wind?

What is in ? now the wind

    The cycle without its wheel

    A film without its reel

    The fugitive without reward

Why we must unsheathe the sword

    On the Wire

    It seems so unrealistic

    To expect that these issues

    would not be reconsidered

they stare in to the mirror

    and needlessly disguised

    regarding they reflection

    the birds upon the wire

    it seems so unrealistic

    there once was a mayor

    who lived upon the wire

    he started as a player

    but ended as a liar

    it seems so unrealistic

    and needlessly disguised

    for birds whos characteristic

    is flying through the sky

    Tits Parade

On the chiefs birthday I arrive in the village

Where a riot had started, but without any pillage

All the revelers were chanting, stamping their feet in the dirt

A thousand girls came dancing, in the street without their shirts

Musicians and poets were gathering, drawing people into the charade

Straight through the center of town, came a marching tits parade

But at the birthday celebration, the daughter of the chief

performed a dance, for her father and his guests

the dance was so exotic, and the guests were so impressed

that he swore that he would give what ever she desired

to continue entertaining them the girl demanded payment

for conceded guilt and sensual motives, she demands the death of a prophet

Oh, the rights of the famous, the chief was so distressed

If not my oath was had witness by any of my guests

Dance for me again Salome! Dance for me and my guests!

Dance for us Salome, dance again at my death!

    We Without Origin

We are not displaced; we without origin

Boldly we go; before this harlequin

We want to be free, but freedom we cant afford

Our only hope depends, on the mercy of the Lord

We want to be safe; safetys not our way of life

Caught in the middle passage, lost between day and night

We dont need to understand, we dont want to care

It doesnt matter where you go, when you dont come from anywhere

The range of occupations held by slaves, was nearly as broad as that held by

    free persons

The highest position slaves were to attain was that of slave minister

Although a few slaves even rose to become slave monarchs, as did Moses

and some of the sultans of Islam.

At a level lower than the slave ministers, were slaves working in

administrative service, either as government property or owned by private

individuals but dispatched for government work.

The so-called temple slaves were those who worked for religious institutions

and unless they were ultimately destined for sacrifice to the gods, temple

slaves served in many occupations ranging from priestess to janitor.

Slaves who fought as soldiers were usually considered of higher status, this

special type of soldier slave was found in the Ottoman Empire. Captive

children were often taken to Istanbul and raised to be professional soldiers,

or janissaries. A practice learned from the earlier Islamic Empires.

However most societies explicitly refused to employ slaves in combat, this

action was taken out of fear that it would be necessary to free the slaves

who had learned to fight in organized warfare.

While some higher-status slaves worked as merchants and were entrusted

with large sums of money most slave societies, particularly in the American

South, forbade slaves to engage in any type of business or commerce.

Only a small portion of slaves throughout history were fortunate enough to

be employed in any of these elite or prestigious occupations.

To the contrary, most were assigned strictly physical labor, often the most

degrading that any society had to offer.

Among the worst forms of slave employment were prostitution and other

occupations demanding extreme hard physical labor; such as mining.

Slaves were used in mine for gold, coal or silver mines in Africa and

    throughout the Americas.

Slaves have been used extensively in farming and agriculture, to build great

construction projects such as military fortifications, roads, irrigation

projects, to build temples or dams; from the Egyptian pyramids, to ancient

Babylon and through the industrial revolution.

    Laying down the law

What if nobody voted, nobody at all?

Take a stand, be a man

    Lay down the law

Get a job, get wit the program

    Lay down the law

Draw a line in the sand

    Lay down the law

Dont be afraid of being too cruel

Dont be afraid if imposing punishments

Dont allow your workers to do as they please

    Lay down the law

Remember our failures, come from weakness and indifference

Remember the hard lessons, thats the main concern

Disrespectful, uncontrolled, disliked by their superiors

    Lay down the law

We cant allow our customers to do just as they please

What if nobody voted, no body at all

Who would be in control, who would legally have the right to govern?

    Hello?

    Look into my eyes

Look into my eyes, live it peacefully, happily and with prosperity.

The most certain event for all living things is death and yet we know so little

    about it.

We seems to spend more time dead than alive.

I know of people that have been dead a lot longer than they lived.

Life is then merely a transition, like a pit stop on a journey to some where

    we really belong

    or is it?

It may come sooner or it may come later in life but the Inevitable alwayshappens.

We carry out our actions and behave as if we are immortal

and death does not enter into our scheme of things.

But once you understand death, then you can really understand life

and this will help you to live it peacefully, happily and with prosperity.

    Secrets of the Tunnel

I knew I had to stay away

If I saw her again what was I to say

The mistakes we made, were not all at fault

Theyd have stopped the train, if the tunnels could talk

A young lady with questions of her own

But thought she best, leave us alone

Who studied us both so carefully

She wanted to please me desperately

I know how your feel, I understand

From under the table she touched my hand

At that moment, there was a know at the door

But who would you say, theyre looking for?

    If tunnels could talk

If tunnels could listen to what people shared and know all that happens

    between here and there

I tunnels could speak and tell what they knew, would it change our

perspective, would it change what is true.

If tunnels could talk, then what would they say? Can you prove over night

what you did the next day?

    Honest Chikn Foot

In the cold, black distance of a full moonlight

Came a symbol of great power to unite the nations

    Living within our psychic heritage

It called to me with this vision of the world

A world that has reached past its limits of division

Past its anger, envy and distrust

To a place where many nations coexist

I am practicing like these amalgamated Africans who had no money

To bribe or amass great armies

No power, nor arsenals of guns for the show of force

To control the subjugate masses, I, no laws to promise hope and dreams

    forever deferred

No, we became Ayisyen in the land of Taino-Ayisyen

Who let the tools of combat crawl from our body and mind

Our veins are the vortex for a unified African psychic force

You will as you must, you will surrender to that

    Psychiatric shrink

I came home from the hospital, shot full a holes

My poor neighbor she cried god save this soul

The nurse was problematic, she should has nurse me back to health

But she sold out the patient a share of power and wealth

With a evil, greedy physician who pretends to heal the sick, with a mixed

bag of drugs and a head full tricks.

Why should I pay a doctor 100 dollars/hr for his time

When he calls himself a psychiatrist but cant even read my mind

    Mythopoetics

    How many times

Characteristic of the mythopoetic, was the practice of storytelling with music

    and with song

    have I come to you

I take you to be my lawfully wedded wife, my constant friend, and faithful

    companion

Characteristics. For better or for worse, in sickness and in health

    With the light. Mythopoetic

To have and to hold, from this day forward

    How many times. Storytelling

In the presence of God, I offer you my solemn vow

have I come to you. With music and with song

    With the words

To honor you, and respect you, as long long as we both shall live.

    I cant help you

To prepare for the journey and prepare for the resurrection.

The space between the two eyebrows is the point at which the spiritual eye

    opens

How many times have I come to you, with the light

How many times have I come to you

with the words, I cant help you

An object once seen, even after the eyes are both destroyed, the knowledgethat "I have seen remains.

How many times have I come to you, with the light

How many times have I come to you, with the words

    I cant help you

    Tycheetoes

Image the soul is a real being, it is an eternal entity.

Desire, aversion, pleasure, pain, and intelligence are of some its qualities or

    some of signs.

How many times have I come to you

The object of the notion of I am is the soul and no understanding or

remembering is possible without a soul.

    With the light

The eye cannot see and the ear hear without a soul.

How many times have I come to you

The senses are like instruments and there were an artist to use these

instruments. That artist is the soul.

    with the words

    I cant help you

How many times have I come to you

    With the light

How many times have I come to you

    Find some video

The world is completely dark at least have of the day

All the logic, peace and sanity can not take that darkest away

Its part of the life we live in, its the price of civilization

How can we expect anything different from such a word is beyond

    explanation. Civilization equals Domination.

The African was told that it is he who is uncivilized that he can achieve what

others have achieved by adopting European ways. But he forgets that what

he sees, what he desires was accomplished by dominance whether Arab or

European these advancements were accomplished on the backs of slaves.

Diplomacy is not a substitute for dominance and will never put you on equal

par with the oppressor once you have been one of the oppressed. You are

merely a tag-along or wanna-be community filled with envy for the

pretty, smiling, civilized people who look like you want to look. They live the

way you want to live and do the work that you want to do. These are the

people that get all the love and respect that you want to get. The Love of

    God.

If their God loves them the way they say God does, then I want to be like

them and Ill worship their God too! This is the basis of all conformity,

    assimilation, conversion, and all civilization.

Theres just one problem; one side of the equation that you and I still dont

understand. That is you cant just wanna-be them and worship their God

as they do. Youve got to be them and worship their God as they do before

the looking pretty happy and respected stuff comes along. Otherwise, youre

just wanting, still wanting, and waiting.

You may say what about guilt-by-association can that work for Gods

blessing too? Some people think so happy-by-association. I do believe itspossible to be happier by associating with happy people. But I doubt that

you will become beautiful or wealthy by tagging-alone with beautiful,

wealthy associates. I dont believe that. I believe you have to define your

own community, your own group or tribe if you like. In the community you

are unique and offer a unique contribution to others in the community. When

this is done in exchange for unique services or contributions for other
