The Night Of Power:

The most important event in the life of Prophet Muhammad (saw) was when he received the words of Allah for the first time.

This event restored the original message, sent to many prophets over the centuries.

There could be mistaking this message because it came to the prophet (saw) directly from Allah.

Why is the revelation of the Quran to Muhammad so important for Muslims?The revelation of the Quran to Muhammad is extremely important because:It was the time when the first words of the

Quran were revealed to MuhammadHe became the final prophet of Allah because

he had received this message from Allah.It was the beginning of many such revelations

which went on for 23 yrs. and formed the whole Quran

For Muslims this is a great miracle of Islam.It proves that the words in the Quran are the

exact speech of Allah.

Summary:

The revelation of the Quran took 23 yrs.it began when the Angel Jibril visited Muhammad and told him to recite the words he could see, even though he had not been taught to read. This is known as the greatest miracles of Islam.
