Drug cartels are gangs of drug dealers/smugglers that sell drugs in a wide ranged area.

On the Mexican/American border people smuggle drugs to and from Mexico.

90% of cocaine that enters the U.S. goes through Mexico.

Mexican drug cartels get $19-$40 billion annually from selling drugs to the U.S.

The Mexican drug cartels only get involved in situations when large amounts of money is present.

These armies have spread their dastardly trade throughout Mexico and into many other countries in Latin America.

Political Cartoon

This political cartoon portrays the effects the drug cartels have put on the Mexican society. The skulls symbolizes the killing of innocent civilians by the drug cartels.

One issue that was similar to the drug cartels is the drug lord, “El Chapo” or “Joaquín Guzmán Loera”.

He was responsible for 20% of the drugs coming in to the U.S.

He was arrested but in January 19th 2001 he escaped either by hiding in a laundry basket or by bribing the police officials.

He was arrested again in February 25th 2001. We can solve the drug cartels on the border of

Mexico and America by doing the same thing and arresting the drug lords that control the drug cartels.

Political Cartoon

This political cartoon portrays the American people using drugs brought over by the Mexican drug cartels. Also, the Mexican drug cartels kill innocent people sometimes so they can get what they want.

This problem can be solved by increasing border patrol, sending soldiers to stop these cartels, and make laws that further prevent drugs from being used.

The government should make our military stronger by upgrading the weapons or equipment.

The Mexican government and the U.S. government can come to an agreement and make laws to make sure that the drug cartels can be stopped.

We can send in spies to infiltrate the drug cartels and get valuable information for the government so that we can end all or most of the drug cartels.

We can make an alliance with Mexico and we can help each other stop these drug cartels and help each other in the future

Political Cartoon

This political cartoon illustrates the Mexican drug cartels bringing the supplies of drugs over to America where the demand is. Uncle Sam is trying to come to an agreement with Mexico to stop bringing over supplies of drugs to the U.S.

There are a lot of problems that creates the world today. There are many problems such as child labor, bride kidnapping and much more. But has caught my attention the most are the drug cartels on the Mexican-American border. This issue is huge because Mexican drug cartels continue to invade America till this day. Drug cartels are one of the main problems the world is facing.

The drug cartels on the Mexican-American border have influenced many of Americans to buy their drugs. Drug cartels basically invade America making $64 billion from their sales in the United States. These drug cartels kill/assassinate enemies and civilians by paying American soldiers to do their killings. The cartels operate like corporations. They make and have a lot of money to go out and hire the talent they need to get the job done. This issue has made America waste so much in protecting the border, without any success.

These drug cartels come from Mexico. These cartels go through the border and are being operated on Chicago as if Chicago is the border. These drug cartels cannot be stopped, there’s no solution because of the influence they have had on the Americans. With the increase of the cartel presence, comes increased influence. These cartels murder many people no specific purpose, slaying topped 500 for the first time in 2008.

More and more cartels infiltrate America, many feared that the United States would become the next Mexico. When the cartels first began to establish themselves, Mexican authorities failed to dislodge them from the country. The United States tried to or desperately to stem the flow of drugs into the country through tougher laws and tighter security. But no matter what the United States does they cannot stop the cartels from entering.

These are the reasons why the drug cartels on the Mexican-American border has caught my attention.

Many problems occur because of the use of drugs. Other problems like child a labor, bride kidnapping, and no freedom in countries. The biggest problem in my opinion is the drug cartels at the Mexican-American border. Many innocent people died even though they weren’t responsible for anything. Also, many police officers and soldiers died trying to stop these drug cartels.

Drug cartels are bigger gangs of drug dealers or smugglers. This causes many problems for the U.S. and other countries. Many soldiers, children, and American civilians killed. Even some of the troops were missing when they were fighting in this event. Drug cartels are criminal organizations developed with the primary purpose of promoting and controlling drug trafficking operations. The term was applied when the largest trafficking organizations reached an agreement to coordinate the production and distribution of cocaine.

El Chapo is one of the notorious drug lords. He was finally arrested but on January 19th 2001, El Chapo escaped. He either snuck out of prison in a laundry basket or bribed prison officials to set him free. He attracted the attention of the U.S. Department of State for organizing multi-ton shipments of cocaine from Columbia’s coca fields. Under El Chapo, the Sinaloa operation goes far beyond cocaine. It’s considered to be the largest importer of marijuana into the U.S. El Chapo is responsible for 20% of the drugs that is imported to the U.S. and elsewhere. On February 25th 2014 was found and arrested again. Now we have wiped out 20% of the drugs that El Chapo was responsible for.

Like how we handled the situation with El Chapo, we should do the same with the drug cartels. If we capture all the drug lords it would limit the drugs that will be imported into America or other places. Also, if there are no more drug cartels innocent people wouldn’t die and also children, police officers, and soldiers. We can also make an alliance with Mexico to stop drug cartels or send in spies to get all their information about their plans and leaders. If we learn about our enemy we can defeat them much easier.

Drug cartels are very dangerous organizations. Many problems occur because of these. Innocent people die and it is a horrible event. Other problems like child labor, bride kidnapping, and others this is one of the worst problems we face. This is why drug cartels are dangerous.

The drug cartels on the Mexican/American border are importing drugs illegally in to the U.S. The Mexican drug cartels get from $19-$40 billion annually from selling and trading drugs to and from the U.S. to Mexico. There are many ways to fix this problem and one way to do this is to make an agreement with Mexico to increase security and border patrol on the border. Also, we can increase the power of our military/border patrol by upgrading their weapons and gear. Another way we can stop the drug cartels from importing drugs into the U.S. is by sending in spies or policemen to arrest the cartel leaders so they can stop them. These are good ways to stop the drugs from being imported and good ways to improve the relationship between the U.S. and Mexico.

The U.S. can make a deal or a treaty with Mexico to stop the drug trades along the Mexican/American border. The U.S. can come to an agreement with Mexico to stop most, if not all drug trades in and out of the U.S. and Mexico. They can both increase border patrol and work together by creating an alliance so that whenever Mexico or the U.S. needs help they can help each other. Also, Mexico can invest some money in to their military/police so that they can further investigate to find out more information on the drug cartels so that they could stop them from importing drugs in to the U.S. Mexico can also send spies in to the drug cartels and get valuable information that can allow the Mexican police to arrest the cartel members and stop the drug trades. There are other ways to stop them and another one is that the U.S. can increase the power of the border patrol and they can stop the drug cartels from importing drugs in to the U.S.

Increasing the power of the U.S. border patrol can help stop the drugs from being imported in to the U.S. One way this can help stop the drug cartels is that when they import the drugs they can capture the cartel members. Also, when they are importing the drugs the border patrol can confiscate their drugs and this could at least lower the drug import rates in the U.S. Another way this could benefit the U.S. is that the police can get to the drugs before the buyers can and we can make sure that the people can’t receive the drugs and they won’t be able to sell it to other people in the U.S. Border patrol can help lower drug usage rates in the U.S. and it can help people become healthier by not allowing them access to drugs. One other way we can stop drugs from being imported in to the U.S. by Mexican drug cartels is that we can send in spies to get valuable information for the U.S. so that we can take down these cartels.

Sending in spies can benefit the U.S. in many ways. One way this can benefit the U.S. is that we can know when the drug cartels are importing the drugs so that the police/military can stop the drug cartels and they can arrest them and take away all the drugs. Another way this can benefit the U.S. is that the spies can ruin things from inside the cartel and they can allow the Mexican police to arrest the cartel members and stop the drugs. Also, sending spies in to the drug cartels can allow the spies to send valuable information for the police and we can know the exact times the cartels are going to import/ trade the drugs so we can stop them from bringing in drugs in to America. These are some ways we can stop the drug cartels from importing the drugs in to America and keep our country safe.

Drug cartels from Mexico import many drugs in to the U.S. They make a lot of money illegally just by importing drugs in to the U.S. We can stop these drug cartels by doing many things like making alliances with Mexico, increasing the power of the border patrol, and by sending in spies to help make it easier to arrest them. There are also many other ways of stopping these drug cartels and by doing this we can stop the drug usage rates in the U.S.
