D2L and blackboard administrates a connection between the student and teacher to transmit course content

Most of the websites used for learning purposes are free to use, however, students who do not own a computer will have to find a means to access the sites.

Instead of using books in some schools, teachers may have access to reserve electronic equipment to use in their lesson plan

New apps are being created for students that allow them to interact with teachers outside of class

Some programs may require a subscription fee to be used in class
