• Maine’s nickname is Pine Tree State or The Lumber State

• It got that nickname because of all its many pine cone trees

• Maine was an interesting name to pick because with the many websites I tried going to find out what the name was it said many different reasons so today 2013 nobody except maybe the king knows the truth
